Floral Park Motor Lodge (Adults Only), Floral Park

My stay at this hotel was unfortunately quite unpleasant. While it was a last-minute choice and the price was reasonable, the conditions were far from ideal. The checked-in service was confusing, and the room itself was not up to standard. I managed to get a decent night’s sleep, but I wouldn’t want to stay here again. It's a classic case of you get what you pay for, unfortunately.

I've been coming to this hotel on and off for 20 years, and it remains a solid choice for a budget stay. The rooms are clean and spacious, though they could use some upgrades. The location is fantastic, with restaurants within walking distance, but we did have a bit of an unusual experience with the smell of marijuana upon arrival. Overall, the price is good for what you get, and the improvements in parking security are a plus.

The beds were super comfy and I appreciated having a well-functioning fridge. While the location is a bit far if you're a tourist, it's still reasonable with the LIRR station nearby. The only downside was the occasional smell of weed in the lobby and parking area. Overall, I would happily stay here again.
